We had a great meal here as soon as we got in town. It's almost directly across from the gay beach at Sebastian St. It's also within walking distance of several of the guest houses. The food was fresh and tasty, large portions, and strong drinks! We loved the outdoor dining.

Jim and Richard do a wonderful job, not only entertaining their straighter clients, but queers like my partner and I. They always make us feel at home.

This is a beautiful looking restaurant, set in a cave-like atmosphere in a little street in Sitges. The french hostess is very welcoming, and certainly the three course €19 menu is too. The food is very well described, but that´s about where it ends. what was delivered was bland and mostly tasteless. Above all the most disappointing point was the presentation! Carelessly plonked on plates and dropped in front of us.
It´s one thing to have a nice ambience, but it´s quickly ruined by shoddy execution of what could be a great menu. Very disappointing.

I came in by myself one evening and took a seat at the bar. A small salad, small pizza and glass of wine totaled $26 before tax and tip. The pizza was a mess of fresh veggies, including corn, which I'd never had on a pizza before. One waitress/barkeep spent half the evening making fresh lemonade. It seemed vegetarian-friendly, yet people on both sides of me were eating burgers. There were plenty of gay couples there (it is in the Castro) but also families with small children. Looked like a bit of a wait for restrooms, but I may have been there at a particularly crowded time. I didn't have dessert, but I saw a couple go by and they looked decadent.

We sought out this restaurant because they were listed on OutAdvisor and several other gay travel publications as being gay friendly. The service was great, as was the food, which was somewhat more "authentic" than typical Chinese fare in the US, but it did have its own twist. One thing we did note was that the place did seem to be a hangout for US college students studying in Rome--there were quite a few. With the friendly staff, the tasty food, and the location near other gay venues in Rome, I highly recommend China Garden.

Restaurants are pricey in P-town. This place is great when you want to grab a burrito to eat on the beach or back at your guesthouse. Portions are large, healthy, and inventive. There are a few picnic tables outside of the shop in the adjoining 'mall', but you wouldn't really want to sit there with the beach so close. If you walk straight to the back of the mall there are better picnic tables or make your way down to the harbor. I prefer this place over Spiritus Pizza.
